The over three hundred people who attended and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a chance to hear former Buffalo Bills Coach Marv Levy. Kent Hull and Jim Kelly were special guests. TOP 13 REASONS (BAKER'S DOZEN) WHY MARV IS MARVOLOUS
The Great Coach of the 1980s and 1990s and current General Manager of the Buffalo Bills!

No. 13 Leadership. If Marv runs for President in 2008, he can count on our votes.
No. 12 Don Shula has the most wins of any NFL coach but Marv Levy is the only NFL coach to have a winning record against Don Shula. 17–5 Regular Season. 3–0 Playoffs.
No. 11 Marv Levy was the only NFL coach to put Superman on waivers!
No. 10 Marv Levy was the only NFL coach and is the only NFL General Manager that is in better physical condition than his offensive linemen. In fact, Marv would often challenge Jim Kelly to a forty yard dash. All the Bills players put their money on Marv.
No. 9 As Jim Kelly stated, "Marv was the man who kept us together".
No. 8 Marv has a plan to again put the Ralph Wilson Stadium to use, 12 times a year. As Chris Bergman would say, "The path to the Super Bowl in the AFC runs thru Buffalo". We remember and learn from the past as we look forward to the future. History will repeat itself.
No. 7 Winston Churchill stated "Success consists of going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm". Although we never won a Super Bowl, Marv Levy and his teams never lost their enthusiasm or hunger to succeed.
No. 6 Marv was always very intense and "vocal" on the sidelines. Many of Marv's gameday sidline comments were edited by NFL Productions.
No. 5 Ted Hanes, founder of Hanes Supply, frequently used a saying, "There are many a fine tune on an old fiddle". At 81 years young, we can guarantee the Marv's performance would be virtuoso and Marv's Uncle Sol would have been impressed.
No. 4 The Bills made the most significant free agent signing in their history in January, coach Levy as General Manager. Marv is likened his new position to that of a school principal. Surely, Mrs. McInerney, Marv's grammar school principal, would have been very proud.
No. 3 For not only being a coach to many young men, but a mentor, teacher and father.
No. 2 For receiving the highest honor from his peers, Marv's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
No. 1 Winston Churchill stated, "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give". Thank you Marv, for giving so much to the Buffalo Bills, your family and the game you love.

Kent Hull was the center for the Buffalo Bills from 1986 thru 1996 as well as having had participated in four consecutive Super Bowls with the Buffalo Bills. Kent's years of tireless, quiet service to his team were recognized by the community as he joined teammate Jim Kelly as the first members of the Bills' Super Bowl teams inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.

Jim Kelly was the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills from 1986 thru 1996 as well as having had participated in four consecutive Super Bowls with the Buffalo Bills. Jim came to the Buffalo Bill's after having played in the USFL for the Houston Gamblers. He is currently known for his generous work with many worthy community foundations, including Kelly for Kids Foundation and Hunter's Hope.

Darryl Talley was a linebacker for the Buffalo Bills from 1983, when the Bills' acquired him as their #2 Draft Pick, thru 1994. During his time with the Buffalo Bills he was involved with four AFC Championships and two Pro Bowl Selection. He is honored on the Ralph Wilson's Wall Fame. After the Bills, Darryl continued playing with the Falcons and the Vikings.

Marv Levy Hall of Fame, former Buffalo Bills Head Coach. Levy, who has a Master's degree from Harvard, was best known as an intelligent and analytical football coach. Perhaps better suited for the political field rather than the football field, Coach Levy led the Buffalo Bills to an unprecedented four straight Super Bowls. He used his Harvard education to motivate and shape the careers and lives of many pro football athletes.

The Kelly for Kids Foundation is committed to providing funding and support to children's charities throughout Western New York. These charities operate for the benefit of disadvantaged and handicapped youths and focus on children's needs and issues. They award Community Grants each year to deserving charities that have demonstrated a need for funding that will reap immediate, tangible results for underprivileged children.
