Let’s talk about Milwaukee’s Handheld Core Drill

If you saw our last blog on Milwaukee’s new MX Fuel Line, you’d know about a brand new product line aimed to revolutionize the way tradesmen work. These battery-powered tools will help to cut emissions (if that’s your thing) while allowing for easier jobsite performance without the annoyance of permit gathering while working inside.

This week, we wanted to tell you about one of the first products being launched, Milwaukee’s Handheld Core Drill. This product has several features aimed at optimizing your time on the job-site regardless of whatever job is being performed. The first, and maybe our favorite feature of this product is the internal gyroscope aimed at preventing the loss of control in a possible bind up. The built-in friction plate prevents the bits of seizing, making switching bits very easy.

The drill also features an alternate handling position giving you the option to grip the tool in whatever way easiest. To further add to its features, there is an LED level and pressure gauge along with an attached light, designed to help in poorly lit areas.

Additional Features

  • • ONE KEY™ system
  • • Lightweight design
  • • Speed selector
  • • Push button activation
  • • Dry core and wet core capability
  • • On-board water connection
  • • The clutch/Autostop™ prevents loss of control in bind up situations
Like any of the MX products, there’s no time spent locating or resetting breakers due to a power outage. The cordless design also gets rid of the possibility of power cords being pulled from the walls, eliminating a possible trip hazard. Additionally, without the need for extension cords or outlets, setup time is much shorter than usual.
