Compliance with export regulations

Empire Rigging is 100 percent committed to compliance with the United States and all foreign government’s laws and regulations. Be aware that there are certain restrictions (based on goods, locations and/or parties) that may delay or prevent shipping to certain countries due to trade regulations and restrictions.

End-user disclosure requirement for your order

If you are placing an order, and will forward it onto another party, entity or company, it is Empire Rigging’s policy that the end-user of the item, if other than you or your company, must be reported when you place the order.

In compliance with the Export Administration Regulations, a shipment cannot be diverted to an entity or location that is prohibited by the US government. There are multiple screenings that are required to be completed on each individual order and the end-user must be screened as well.

Shipping

Orders will be shipped based on a customer’s request. All orders shipped within the contiguous United States will be eligible for free standard ground shipping.

Empire will also ship to freight forwarders within the contiguous United States for any overseas customers. Transportation costs from the US to overseas is the responsibility of the customer.

Transit times

Transit times will vary depending on the method of shipping, as well as destination address, weight, etc. Empire Rigging will provide a transit time for your order with the shipping quote.

Empire Rigging generally ships orders within 48 hours of the order being placed. For items not currently in stock, shipping will depend on the manufacturer’s time frame, but every effort will be made to ensure the product is shipped to you as soon as it is available.

Special packaging

Your order will be packaged sufficiently to be shipped at no cost to you. If any special packaging is required above the standard packaging, you will be notified within a reasonable timeframe of any additional charges for these services.

Hazardous materials

If you place an order for any hazardous materials that require special packaging and documentation, Empire Rigging will quote you with that charge within a reasonable timeframe. Certain requirements must be met in order to ship any hazardous materials.

Return policy

If you need to cancel a basic order that does not include custom sling fabrication, you may do so prior to shipment. If an order does need to be returned, you may return the new item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. However, Slings and other made to order products are final sale and not returnable.

To return items, signin to your account and click on the return items link. There you will be able to request a return form. You then will receive a confirmation email that Empire Rigging & Supply has received your request. Allow two business days for your request to be completed.

After 30 days, items are protected under the manufacturer’s warranty. Check with the manufacturer for warranty coverage on the item.
