Engineered Spreader Beam for Overseas

A project to deliver two spreader beams, overseas, able to lift 40,000 pounds each, came my way in September. After having met with our customer's Engineering Department to determine the specifications of the beams, we then had the items manufactured by Engineered Lifting Technologies, Inc. They work in cooperation with Hanes Supply, Inc., whenever a situation like this arises. Needed were two Beams, each twelve foot overall length, featuring a 7/8 inch double-leg chain assembly, using a 3/4 inch diameter master link, hammerlok coupling link, as well as each end hook having an eleven ton capacity.

Arizona Cardinals Stadium - Lifting Fabric Panels

Hanes Supply furnished the following Rigging and Lifting for Fabric Panels at the New Arizona Cardinals Stadium: Due to the capacity of the helicopter, Hanes Supply provided a 3,000 pound capacity by twenty foot Aluminum Beam. The weight of the Spreader Beam was 250 pounds. The Spreader Beam was fabricated in less than one week by Engineered Lifting Technologies, Inc. In addition, the Spreader Beam took its first flight in the air from Buffalo, New York to Phoenix, Arizona via airfreight. This was due to the tight construction jobsite schedule.

Large TwinPath Slings

Hanes Supply, Inc., recently manufactured two each TPXC 40,000 x 65' Twin Path Slings. This order was placed on July 15th at 10:00am and was picked up by a large construction company on July 17th at 3:00pm. Our hard working associates, lead by Scott LoHouse and Ron Learn include Donnie Learn and Bobby Buyea, manufactured these quality slings in record setting time.

Southern Tier TwinPath Lift

This 40,000 pound Twin-Path sling lift for this bridge was with in the Southern Tier of New York. There were three decks weighing 40,000 pounds each. Each of the three decks were 10' wide by 22' long and had to be lifted, rotated and lowered into place to build this bridge. This was completed in only three hours.

Rotor Lift Ergonomic Improvement

An Electric Power Producer needed to update the Rigging for their 80 ton Rotor. Hanes Supply conducted an on-site review with Engineering and Rigging Superintendents resulting in the following recommendations. Wire Rope Slings to be replaced with TwinPath High Performance Slings.
