Product Overview
PHD C-Clamp, FIG 250 Series, 5/8 in Rod, 550 lb, For Use With: 5 in Pipe, Carbon Steel, Plain. Designed for attaching hanger rod to the bottom flange of a beam. The hanger rod should make contact with the beam flange to ensure full engagement.
Features
- Low carbon steel with hardened steel cup point set screw
- When a torque wrench is unavailable, the setscrew should be tightened so it contacts the I-beam and then an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn added
- Caution should be taken not to over tighten the set screw
- 3/8 to 7/8 in set screws
- 250 in-lb torque set screw
