CGW® Coated Abrasive Flap Disc, Contaminant-Free Compact, 4-1/2 in Disc dia, 7/8 in Center Hole, 60 Grit, Medium Grade, C3 Ceramic Abrasive, Type 27 Disc, Polyester Backing, 13300 rpm Maximum, Orange.

Features

Trimming the backing allows for more of the disc to be used for fewer disc changes and better production rates
Simply angle the backing edge against a hard metal to expose more flap material
Stiff backing construction paired with a compacted 4° flap angle make grinding easier, quieter and with less vibration
Ceramic flap discs are designed to last longer than zirconia flap discs
Polyester backing material for longer life
To trim down the backing simply grind the backing edge against a metal edge until the flaps are exposed to the level needed
Flaps are compressed at a 4° angle for flap edge strength
Best used at 5 to 20° angle
